Materials used: fabrics, Angelina fibers, paint on fusible web, beads, variegated thread, tule

It is a great way to share and be inspired by each other's quilts!

After living in São Paulo for the past 2,5 years for my husband's job

this quilt is a dear souvenir to me

São Paulo is not the easiest place to live in Brazil 

and Rio de Janeiro proofed to be a great escape

Especially when Carnival is celebrated!

This quilt was my first attempt at using other materials than only cotton

I had no real fixed plan when I started out with this quilt

but is just evolved when working on it and I am very pleased

to share it with you at Amy's Blogger Quilt Festival
